Wow. That guy is fast as hell. I find it hard to get into a solo entirely on the drums (mostly cause I don’t understand the complexity behind it) but I definitely appreciate that this guy is hauling ass on those things!
WoW! That was simply Incredible!
He is so fast…so fast!
There are points in that where the camera loses focus and can’t keep up…
never seen a drummer drum that fast
mad props! MAD PROPS!
Hmm. This is where i make myself unpopular.
It was fast but the rhythm and timing was a bit all over the place.
No doubt he’s talented, but just not my taste.
I actually agree somewhat with Chris. The rhythm was a bit off and he didn’t employ any really good sounding beats, but he is definitely one of the most talented soloists I’ve ever seen. I think if he were to have someone else write a more appealing solo for him and then perform it, I would be even more impressed.
An amazing drumline soloist named Tim Jackson represents a group known as the Concord Blue Devils (link) by performing an incredibly fast drum routine during a competition.

Tim makes the best solos. playing traditional with the right hand… uber skills! Tim never ceases to amaze me.
