Really impressive even with the few pitchy notes included - I sure couldn’t have done it better! It says the group is an octet, but I count seven men. Where is number 8?

Eh, it was alright. If it had been a junior high or a high school I’d be more forgiving but for college kids it was only decent. Great showmanship though… but showmanship doesn’t make up for off notes. Of course I also don’t know how many times they’ve performed this, like if this was the last night of a four night performance then they did well. I guess… 7/10 to an 8/10 depending on the circumstances. Also they did the epic guitar rift rather poorly which is a must in this song… at least I think so.
that was awesome. i wonder who this is? a school maybe?
You should check out the Archbishop Curley High School Choir. When I was going through Maryland I happened to see them. Easily Maryland’s best.
The description actually says it’s a group called the UC Octet from the University of California. They are definitely awesome!
University of California! Go Fightin’ Banana Slug-Aggie-Bear-Bobcat-Gaucho-Bruin-Anteater-Triton-Gators!
Great, really great!
Verry nice
You guys do realize there are something like 9 UCs, right?

Love it a capella but it will always be better when Wayne and Garth are singing along in the car.
doesn’t octet usually imply eight people?
No, octet always implies 8 people.
Actually, octet is defined as eight people. No implication at all.
VERY COOL!! Love the solo! I’m an a capella/harmony freak, so anything acapella that sounds good rings my rooters! LOL
Sweet this one rocks! Good find!
The Octet is an a capella group at UC Berkeley.
Simply amazing.
